WWE confirms NXT episode for former ECW Arena

WWE officially brings NXT to the former ECW Arena for the first time.

Today it was confirmed that NXT will air live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 6. Although NXT is normally a Tuesday show, it will be moved to Wednesday that week to avoid conflicting with election night coverage.

Dave Meltzer first reported last week that WWE had booked a date at the former ECW Arena that would likely take place for the November 6 episode of NXT.

Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow (October 22). A presale begins at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (with “NXTLIVE” as the entry code) before tickets go on sale to the general public two hours later at noon.

“The city of Philadelphia has a rich wrestling history and we are excited to bring a night of unforgettable action to such a legendary venue,” Shawn Michaels said in a press release.

NXT’s new five-year TV deal with The CW Network went into effect at the beginning of this month. The first two episodes of the CW era took place on the road before the show returned to the WWE Performance Center last week.

The November 6 episode of NXT will go head-to-head against AEW Dynamite, which will be held that evening in Manchester, New Hampshire.
