EPL: Guardiola confirms double injury after Man City’s 2-1 win over Wolves

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed a double injury following his side’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Wolves.

Jørgen Strand Larsen gave the hosts an early lead at Molineux.

But Joško Gvardiol leveled for Man City before John Stones’ dramatic 95th-minute winner for the visitors.

Asked about Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne, Guardiola said in his post-match press conference: “I don’t think they will be ready (for midweek against Sparta Praha in the Champions League).

“We still have a few more days of training, but I don’t think so.”

Meanwhile, the win over Wolves saw Guardiola’s side finish in second place, behind leaders Liverpool.
