Michael Cole says he has signed a long-term deal with WWE and confirms he will call WWE Raw on Netflix

In August, The Ringer’s Bryan Curtis revealed in an article that Michael Cole had signed a new deal with WWE that would keep him with the company “for the foreseeable future.”

Speaking to WFAN’s Sal Licata, Cole provided some more insight into the deal and confirmed that he will return to WWE Raw when the show moves to Netflix in January.

“I still feel like I have a lot left in me. I just signed a long-term deal with the company, I’ll be doing this for a few more years. I’ll be back on Netflix in January with Monday Night Raw,” he said.

Cole is currently the main play-by-play announcer on WWE SmackDown. Joe Tessitore is the play-by-play announcer for WWE Raw.

In the interview, which was recorded on October 12, Cole said he was leaving for a 10-day family vacation to Mexico. Cole missed the October 18 episode of WWE SmackDown, only his fourth missed show since joining the company in 1997, with Graves saying Cole was on “special assignment.”
