NJ man sentenced to 19 years in prison for fatal stabbing in Wildwood

A Mercer County man has been sentenced to 19 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of another man and a serious attack on the victim’s cousin in Wildwood, authorities said Friday.

DaJohn Taylor, 19, of Highstown, was convicted of aggravated manslaughter in the death of Kaiden Braithwaite, 19, June 11, 2023, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland.

The sentence included a term for Taylor’s conviction for assault in the stabbing of the victim’s cousin, whose injuries included permanent nerve damage, Sutherland said.
