Gang member sentenced to prison for 2018 home invasion, FBI say

A Randolph man who was a member of the gang was sentenced to prison Thursday after he and fellow gang members broke into a rival drug dealer’s home and stole $2,000 in cash and a safe, federal prosecutors said.

Brendon Amado, 27, was sentenced to 70 months – that is 5.8 years – in prison, with three years of supervised release, Acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy said in a statement.

In February, Amado pleaded guilty to conspiracy to disrupt commerce through threats or violence, Levy’s office said.
