BRENTFORD’S TEAM NEWS

Bees boss Thomas Frank has revealed that striker Yoane Wissa could return earlier than planned after an ankle injury. The impressive forward is training ahead of the match and a decision on his availability will be made closer to kick-off.

There are no new concerns for the Londoners, but Mathias Jensen, Igor Thiago and Rico Henry remain out.

“Everyone who was available for the last game is also available for this one,” Frank said. “Touch wood, everyone is fit and healthy.

“They (Christian Norgaard and Mikkel Damsgaard) both had small problems. We could have taken them through the international competitions, but then there might have been problems.

“Mathi (Jensen) is training very well and training with the team. It’s just too early to risk him, but it looks very positive for Ipswich. Igor is a big character in a positive way. It’s still a bit asked for him to be involved.

“Rico will not travel. It is still too early to involve him at Manchester United, so it will be smarter to involve him in the next two weeks.”
