Jason Kelce settles the debate about reclining airplane seats once and for all

Jason Kelce has taken it upon himself to settle the debate surrounding reclining passenger seats on airplanes.

The former Philadelphia Eagles football player, who is the older brother of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, recently received a fan request on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, asking him to answer a list of burning questions.

It is Kelce’s firm belief that flight time should be part of your thinking, as well as the height of the person sitting directly behind you.

Thirsty for a new perspective, @kittygang_4ever – user ‘MGD’ – contacted the 36-year-old sports star with this message: “Can Jason Kelce come online and start a heated debate or something? Should toilet paper be hung or Should schools have uniforms ? Do you wet your toothbrush before or after you put toothpaste on it? Is it acceptable to recline your seat when you’re on an airplane?

Kelce willingly revealed how, at least in his mind, reclining the chair “depends on multiple factors.”

“How long the flight is, how tired I am, whether my back hurts, whether I use my tray table. And how tall is the person behind me, if their knees are in the back of my seat, I will try not to do, if they’re short, I’m lying back halfway through takeoff,” he shared, welcoming more than 348,000 comments and 3,700 likes.

His armchair insight was of particular interest to host Mike Golic Jr., who responded: “I really appreciate the nuanced lie-flat approach of airlines. You mentioned the biggest factor, which is the awareness of your fellow passengers. There are few things I like more Then appreciate a good airport/in-flight teammate.”

Meanwhile, toilet paper positioning is “absolutely important” to Kelce.

“There is only one way that is correct, and everyone knows which way it is. It is so universal, I don’t even have to explain it, you all know exactly which way I am talking about,” he wrote on October 11 . , before admitting that he leans toward no uniforms at school and prefers “individuality over compliance.”

As for the toothbrush issue, he opts for pre-moistening to moisten the bristles and create a “much superior” overall mouth feel.

Earlier this month, Kelce made waves by announcing an unexpected Christmas collaboration with Stevie Nicks.

On Wednesday, October 2, the Kelce brothers’ podcast New heights posted a photo on social media of Jason next to the Fleetwood Mac icon, with the caption: “The crossover we didn’t know we needed. Coming soon to a Christmas album near you.”

Users @icourtneycries and @KelleeMood flocked to the comments section, with excited responses like “god I hope no one heard the noise I just made in this office” and “What??? I love this so much! Jason, you are on an EPIC run here! How cool is it to be on a Christmas album with the one and only Stevie Nicks?!”
