Mark Edward Cobb has been in custody in Prince George’s County since county officials charged him with nearly a dozen child sex abuse and substantive child abuse charges in late August. But a federal grand jury has indicted the Cooper Lane Elementary School teacher on charges of coercion and enticement of a child and possession of child pornography, according to a statement released Wednesday.

Cobb’s alleged actions were reported to investigators on August 25, where they said they found messages from Cobb to a nine-year-old student on Roblox between June 2023 and August 2024, in which he requested and received sexually inappropriate photos.
