Prince Harry was spotted surfing under the Californian sun and royal fans have predicted he may never return home.

In a video uploaded to Instagram by surfing legend Raimana Van Bastolaer, the Duke of Sussex can be seen battling the Californian waves at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in California.

The video was captioned: “In Tahiti we still call you Prince Harry, but at Surfranch it’s my brother. It was an honor to have you surf with me and @kellyslater @michaelanders_ at @kswaveco”

Harry’s fans were delighted to see the prince enjoying his time in California and said the video makes it clear he will “never again” return to Britain.

One user wrote on X: “Prince Harry surfs!!!! Britain will never get that man back full time!!”

Another said: “Harry is home!”

A third added: “Then they want to tell us he misses “the land of beans and rain””

A fourth said: “Wow, that was so amazing to see! He lives in California!

The Duke of Sussex stepped down as a senior working royal and moved to the US in 2020.

He now lives in Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
