Jail sentence for Shrewsbury woman who breached restraining order

Jail sentence for Shrewsbury woman who breached restraining order

Vikkie Cooke, aged 36, was found guilty of harassment by breaching a restraining order at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on August 9 this year by attending an address in Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury.

It comes after she was found guilty of stalking on another occasion earlier this year by going to the home of a woman she was not allowed to contact.

District Judge Ian Strongman jailed Cooke, who has no fixed abode, for 24 weeks.

He also made her the subject of a five-year restraining order banning her from entering large parts of the Monkmoor and Belvidere areas of Shrewsbury.
