Anti-aging fanatic Bryan Johnson brags about plasma as he unveils new therapy

Anti-aging fanatic Bryan Johnson bragged that his plasma is so spotless that a medical staffer “couldn’t bring himself to throw it away” as the tech mogul unveiled a new procedure he uses to remove toxins from his body.

Johnson, 47, who spends $2 million a year on his quest for eternal youth, said Monday that he has undergone a total plasma exchange that would remove that fluid from his body and replace it with pure albumin, a protein found in a person’s blood plasma is found.

He noted that the process is different from when he traded blood last year with his teenage son, whom he bizarrely referred to as “blood boy.” The blood exchange reportedly had no real benefits.

“TPE removes all plasma from my body and replaces it with albumin,” Johnson wrote on social media.

“The goals of therapy are to remove toxins from my body. The evidence is emerging.”

The exchange involves passing a patient’s blood through a machine where the filtered plasma is removed with reinfusion of red blood cells, in addition to a replacement fluid such as plasma or albumin, according to the National Institutes of Health.

Johnson, who made a huge fortune in his 30s when he sold his payment processing company to eBay, said he completed a series of baseline measurements before moving on to the therapy which will include six total treatments.

He then claimed that the procedure operator, who has been doing total plasma exchange for nine years, was amazed that his plasma was “the cleanest he has ever seen.” By far.”

“He couldn’t get over it,” Johnson said of the operator. “When we were done, he couldn’t bring himself to throw it away. He imagined all the good it could do in the world.”

He then said that it is possible that his plasma will be auctioned or donated after the next procedure.

“Liquid gold,” he called it.

Johnson has become a prominent face of the anti-aging movement, using his pot of money to follow an incredibly strict routine overseen by a team of doctors, including daily exercise, a vegan diet and taking more than 100 daily supplements.
