Gregg Wallace denies allegations of inappropriate behavior

Master chef presenter Gregg Wallace has denied allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior on the set of a BBC show.

The presenter has responded to reports that he was detained by BBC executives while filming an episode of a game show in 2018 Impossible celebritieswith accusations that he took off his top in front of a female staff member and bragged about his sex life.

As reported by The sunWallace is said to have been accused of consistent “inappropriate sexual comments”, and BBC bosses told him he had to “change his behaviour”.

In an Instagram post in response to the allegations, Wallace said the incident was investigated at the time and claimed the outcome was that he had said “nothing sexual”.

The sunThe show’s source claimed that “Gregg seemed to think it was all just banter and he had also made some comments to the live audience”, adding that the show’s staff were “mortified”.

Wallace said on Monday (October 14) that the incident was “immediately investigated when it happened six years ago by the BBC and the outcome was that I had not said anything sexual. Do I need to repeat this again? I didn’t say anything sexual. Thank you for your time.”

In a follow-up post, he added: “No one accused me of flirting with or hitting anyone six years ago. The reason I say this is because of my wife Anna. I have always been faithful to my wife Anna.”

The BBC spokesperson has said that “while we do not comment on individuals, if issues are raised they will be dealt with quickly and appropriately at the time. We do not tolerate any form of inappropriate behavior and have robust processes in place.”

Last February, Wallace also responded to the “cruel” and “nasty” response to a viral interview he gave about his Saturday regimen, in which he seemed to suggest he spent just an hour and a half with his autistic, non-verbal son. every day, but spends two hours in his office playing video games.
