Deaths in Emmerdale and Coronation Street as EastEnders ‘confirms’ prison twist | Soaps

Emotions will run high in the land of soaps next week, as confirmed in my new spoilers, with the death of a true TV icon on the agenda, plus the discovery of a body elsewhere.

Emmerdale pays tribute to the truly iconic Zak Dingle, with the ITV soap’s signature clan learning that the patriarch has sadly passed away. The funeral proceedings begin as the village gathers to honor the legend, but the service holds plenty of surprises.

Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees a group of nations discover the body of missing villain Joel Deering, with an autopsy confirming the death occurred before he was found in a river.

But who is responsible for his death?

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, sees Sienna Blake as the prime suspect in Ethan Williams’ untimely death, and Neighbors is in even more disarray for Holly Hoyland, who comes to a pretty big realization.

In EastEnders, Chelsea Fox faces the music as the truth about her role in the club crush comes to light.

EastEnders

1. Junior tries to contact Cindy after news of her engagement to Ian spreads. However, Cindy avoids his calls, leaving Junior determined to cause trouble when he asks Priya to join him for drinks and later talks to Ian. Cindy is afraid the truth will come to light.

2. Chelsea berates Denise for her recent closeness with Jack and urges her to keep her distance. Meanwhile, Amy gets into an argument with Penny, who decides to leave the square. But as the situation escalates, Denise reveals Chelsea was responsible for the club crush – not Cent!

3. Eve and Suki’s engagement party begins and Suki is touched when Vinny reveals that Nish has arranged a visit from grandson Tye. Nish is excited to be asked to the celebrations, but the happiness is short-lived when he overhears Suki and Eve talking about his death, prompting him to make the call.

4. Teddy asks Sharon out, but she turns down his offer. However, Kathy thinks Sharon should give Teddy a chance.

5. Jean returns from Greece, but it is clear that Harvey is not forgiven.

6. Avani and Mason kiss, but she flees when he makes it clear he wants more. Avani confides in Lily, who tries to convince her not to sleep with him – but they’re both unaware that Tommy heard everything!

Kroningsstraat

7. Kit and Craig study CCTV footage from a train station parking lot, where they see Joel and his father around a locker. Determined to get answers, they call Gus to the station. Later, three boys see a body floating in the water. It’s Joel. Kit breaks the news to Dee-Dee, while Lisa informs everyone in the Rovers. The autopsy confirms that Joel was dead for he went into the river – but who is to blame?

8. Daniel explains to Sarah how Bethany got it into her head that he doesn’t want to be with her now that she has an ostomy bag. Jenny meanwhile reveals to Daisy that Bethany dumped Daniel and so Daisy leaves for the hospital to put things right.

9. Hope is too unwell to go back to school so Fiz takes the day off to care for her. Tyrone wonders if her vaping played a role and Dr. Gaddas confirms that this is the case.

10. Sam prepares a meal to reunite Leanne and Nick, but disaster strikes when he uses a sharp knife. Sam calls Asha, who takes a bleary-eyed Sam to the hospital. How will Nick and Leanne react to what happened?

11. David is left reeling when a ‘For Sale’ sign is placed outside No. 8.

12. Stu is angry with Yasmeen when Mason reveals that the special worker has found him a place to live. Stu tells Yasmeen that he is thinking about moving to Germany to be with Eliza and Dom.

Emmerdale

13. Cain returns home and takes a shower while Moira receives a call from Debbie informing her that Zak has died. Devastated, Cain relays the news to the Dingles and spends some time reminiscing about the beloved patriarch. The day of the funeral comes later in the week and a long lost relative appears at the grave.

14. Moira has a seizure while cooking breakfast and receives news of an operation that will take place the next day. However, she refrains from telling Cain.

15. Billy reveals to Mack that he will have to participate in another fight and begs him to keep it a secret. Mack confirms he won’t say anything – but he wants to help too!

16. Ruby receives an unexpected delivery of her mother’s ashes – and makes an impulsive decision about how to dispose of them. Chas advises her to hear Helen’s last words from the hospital, hoping it will give her closure. Ruby is surprised to learn that her mother asked for her and insisted on a deathbed reconciliation – and she soon receives another major shock.

17. Amelia is excited when Tom organizes a date.

Hollyoaks

18. Frankie finds out that Dillon is the father of Leah’s baby and confronts him. The question is: will she tell Lucas?

19. News of Sienna’s arrest for Ethan’s murder spreads through the town. Dilly, Liberty and Jez promise to get her out, but Maxine, still thinking she is guilty, refuses to visit her.

20. Cleo’s condition deteriorates severely after being left alone for so long. Abe returns from his mini vacation with Peri to find her shocked. Cleo urges him to take her to the hospital and faints. Abe sobs, believing he killed her.

21. Tony apologizes to Marie.

Neighbors

22. Terese assures Susan that despite the attraction she feels for Paul, she won’t go there. However, she is soon tempted and because there is so much to process, she starts drinking. The next morning Terese is ashamed.

23. Andrew is reeling from his suspension, leaving Wendy deeply concerned for her husband, who talks about how the thought of her and Quinn together has tainted everything he thought he knew about their marriage. Wendy is heartbroken and begs him to attend marriage counseling. Andrew agrees, but it’s a very small step forward.

24. Felix discovers that Holly has thrown away his self-help book so he finds another way to get it to her. Holly initially continues to resist his advice, until she gets scared and accidentally hurts Susan, which turns out to be what she needs to face that she has a problem.

25. Nicolette and Byron decide to accept Vic’s offer of money, but not in exchange for forgiveness. Jane, meanwhile, struggles with the thought of selling Mike’s motorcycle as it turns out to be the last act in their relationship, and so she softens towards Vic and urges Nicolette not to hold on to anger too tightly.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV. Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV. Hollyoaks streams Monday to Wednesday on Channel 4 and airs on E4 at 7pm. Neighbors streams Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. on Amazon Freevee.
