Evidence presented in court revealed that Parham was stopped and arrested by Danville police on September 1, 2023, following a shoplifting incident at the city’s Meijer. During a search his wallet was found, which contained a small plastic bag containing 0.2 grams of crystal substance.

The substance was field tested and tested positive for methamphetamine. Further testing by scientists at the Illinois State Police Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed it was meth.

After his prison sentence, Parham will have to serve another six months of probation.
