Knights Of Columbus

Who are the Knights?

Knights of Columbus are an international fraternal organization of Catholic men. They strive to deepen their faith through prayer, strengthening of family values and service to the parish community. In addition, they are present in the diocese and throughout the country. These men are involved in fund raising for local charities and they are actively involved in promoting the social life of the parish.  They are also involved in the pastoral life of the parish while often assisting people with rides to mass, bringing communion to the sick, etc.

Membership

Members must be practical Catholics in union with the Holy See (The Holy Father) and 18 years of age or older. Practical Catholics are those who are striving to live their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. All candidates fill out an application for membership and deepen their commitment through rites called degrees. They pay dues each year. We have an active parish council of the Knights in the parish. For more information check out the Knights website at K of C of Ontario

Our Council is relatively small, but they are a dedicated group of Catholic men. They meet on a monthly basis and come together at other times to host various events in the parish.
