The former psychiatrist of Dr. Dre has been granted a temporary restraining order

Dr. Drethe former psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophywants nothing more to do with the rapper and backs his words with actions!

The doctor was just granted a temporary restraining order for protection due to alleged threats from the rapper.

Dr. Charles Sophy was the therapist and advisor to Dr. Dre during his marriage and divorce to his ex-wife, Nicole Young.

The counselor went to court to force the rapper to stay a hundred meters away from him and his 22-year-old son. The doctor claimed that it became necessary for him to seek legal protection after the rapper threatened him in text messages over the past eighteen months.

Sophy noted in his filing that he wants the producer to stop contacting him through any communication channel, including phone, text or email. He claimed that the music mogul knows well where he lives and has been a visitor to his home in the past.

According to TMZSophy also stressed that he wanted to ensure the safety of his dogs from the wrath of Dr. Dre cannot guarantee and should therefore stay away from them. After his fears were properly expressed, the judge approved the temporary restraining order.

The bitter relationship between the Brave and his former psychiatrist began when he served as a mediator between Dr. Dre and Nicole officiated.

The Blast reported that the rapper accused Sophy of breaching his duty of trust and unleashing malpractice in a legal brief filed by his lawyer Howard King.

Dr. Dre claimed that the therapist took his wife’s side in the case and tried to give her an unfair advantage in the case. He also accused Sophy of maliciously ‘slandering’ him as part of an attempt to turn his son against him.

The producer explained that Sophy’s actions ultimately affected his relationship with his son as things have now turned sour.

The psychiatrist previously filed a lawsuit against the rapper, citing threats to his safety due to services offered to the rapper in the past. He noted that he worked as a mediator between him and his wife, but things took a drastic turn after the rapper accused him of being unprofessional.

Sophy added that the harassment with phone calls, insults and threats began 14 months after his divorce was finalized. Counsel alleged that Dre falsely accused him of getting a third party to spread untrue stories about the producer during the divorce hearing.

He also accused the rapper of sending associates and unknown men to monitor his movements. He noted that the men, disguised as law enforcement officers, wanted to know his location in his gated community.

The therapist stated that he became so paranoid about Dr. Dre that he needed to increase security on his property and around him.

Sophy stated that the producer’s plan was for the disguised FBI agents to gain access to his home and threaten his physical safety. The doctor provided messages containing threats of physical violence from his former client to support the allegations.

He also accused the rapper of calling him derogatory names like “b–h” and “a piece of s–t” from February 2023 until recently. The experience reportedly left Sophie in a state of emotional distress and concern for his safety.

Sophy noted that the sighting of the fake FBI agents chasing him forced him to buy a bulletproof vest and cap to leave his house.

In his response to his former therapist’s lawsuit, the rapper claimed that Sophy’s lawsuit was a weak attempt to stop him from pursuing his complaints about his behavior towards him and his son.

“Dr. Sophy only filed his charges after failing to pressure Mr. Young to end efforts to have Dr. Sophy punished for dereliction of duty and incredible incompetence,” the rapper noted.

He went on to say that his claims about Sophy’s unprofessionalism were detailed in a complaint he filed with the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.

The actor also requested “revocation of Dr. Sophy’s license to provide mental health care to indigent patients,” claiming she was fired from her position after coercing his son against him for financial gain.
