Of all the great classics, Swan Lake remains the ballet of all time. A passionate romantic tragedy, this influential story ballet is shaped by Tchaikovsky’s breathtaking score and depicts the heartbreak and sorrow of two doomed lovers and the evil forces that come between them.

SARRC’s YES Day Walk for Autism

Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is excited to celebrate YES Day Walk for Autism™ with our supportive community on Sunday, October 27! Leading up to our in-person event, we are encouraging our community to pre-register to help raise money, awareness, and acceptance! This year we are excited to introduce a family-friendly 1 mile walk during the fourth annual event! SARRC YES Day teams are invited to participate in our first one-mile community walk at their own pace, providing a fun and engaging way to boost your 2024 fundraising efforts! The Opening Ceremony will begin at 9am, with an instructor-led stretching session to warm up our participants for the Walk. After the Walk, participants can enjoy all that our fourth annual event has to offer!

Spooktacular hot air balloon festival

When: Friday – Sunday
Where: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Scottsdale
Costs: $22 for adults, $17 for children ages 3-12

We’re excited to have more than 20 hot air balloons from across the country participating in this year’s Halloween festivities! Each balloon will be a trick-or-treat station, with candy and treats being handed out throughout the night. Show off your best costumes during our nightly costume competitions on Friday and Saturday! Children, adults and groups can participate to see who will take home different prizes! There will be more than 4,000 pounds of candy available for all children on both festival days! Each hot air balloon is designated as a trick-or-treat stop.

Cultural Coalition is proud to announce the 13th annual MIKIZTLI: Día de los Muertos PHX Festival. This free family-friendly event has expanded to offer the public more cultural performances, art vendors, food trucks, interactive art activities and MIKIZTLI’s largest community altar or ofrenda. Visitors of all ages will enjoy a day in the park filled with mariachi music, ballet-folklorico performances, arts and crafts activities, delicious food, face painting and great art vendors.
