Elon Musk Calls Eminem ‘Diddy Party Participant’ While Barack Obama Raps ‘Lose Yourself’ During Rally: Here’s What Happened

Elon Musk has found himself in controversy again by claiming that rapper Eminem attended parties hosted by music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing serious criminal charges including allegations of sexual abuse and orchestrating drug-fueled gatherings. These allegations against Combs emerged last month, accusing him of exploiting women through threats and coercion.

What did Musk say?

Musk’s claims came on the heels of Eminem introducing former US President Barack Obama at a high-profile event for Kamala Harris in Detroit. During his speech, Obama also rapped Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” which almost immediately went viral around the world.

Musk, an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump, Harris’ Republican opponent in the upcoming presidential elections, turned to X (formerly Twitter) to make the accusations.

“Another member of the Diddy party,” Musk posted in response to a claim that Eminem had referenced anti-gay violence in his lyrics.

What charges does Diddy face?

Sean Combs, commonly known as “Diddy,” was arrested last month on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Lawyers for the alleged victims have stated that many celebrities were regulars at Diddy’s infamous parties.

The allegations against Diddy have been mounting since last year, when singer Cassie accused him of subjecting her to more than a decade of abuse, including drug coercion and an alleged rape in 2018. Diddy has denied the allegations and will appear in court in May. 2025.

How did Eminem fans react?

In response to Musk’s comments, Eminem’s fanbase quickly defended the rapper, pointing out that Eminem has long been critical of Diddy. “Em (Eminem) was never there and has always been against Diddy. Do your research Elon,” one fan posted on X. Another added that Eminem’s disses against Diddy date back to the 1990s.

There is speculation that Eminem’s latest album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady’, will feature even more digs at Diddy.
