Ōmokoroa will host an inspiring event in November, as local residents Simon Fowler and Emlyn Hatch prepare to bring TEDx to the community.

On Saturday, November 2, the Omokoroa Pavilion will become a hub of innovation and ideas, where residents can come together to experience the power of TED Talks on a local stage.

TED Talks have become synonymous with thought-provoking content, showcasing speakers who share their passions, insights and ideas with a global audience.

From Sir Ken Robinson’s groundbreaking discussion on creativity in education to Brené Brown’s deep dive into vulnerability, these conversations have impacted millions of people worldwide.

Now Ōmokoroa has the opportunity to contribute to this tradition of sharing ideas and create an environment where big ideas can be discussed and celebrated, regardless of the size of the community.

Fowler and Hatch, the driving forces behind TEDxŌmokoroa, believe this event can be a catalyst for growth and connection within the community.
