Keyonte George status update ahead of Utah Jazz vs. Phoenix Suns

Heading into Tuesday night’s NBA Cup showdown, the utah jazz They are coming off their second victory of the season against San Antonio SpursHowever, it was an effort made without second-year point guard Keyonte George, as he was declared inactive due to foot soreness.

However, for the Jazz competition against the phoenix sunsIt looks like George will be ready to suit up again after a one-game absence. According to the team’s recent injury report, Keyonte George is listed as probable.

The Jazz managed to get by without their emerging young point guard on Saturday in a 111-110 victory, but implementing George back into the starting lineup should add a nice boost to the team’s defense and offensive production.

George is off to a solid start in his second year as a pro, averaging 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists. While his shooting splits have waxed and waned (32.2% field goals, 30% 3-pointers), it’s hard to expect those numbers to persist much longer into his sophomore campaign.

As his injury status continues to improve, George is expected to return to action in the Jazz’s backcourt alongside Collin Sexton, while Cody Williams, Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler occupy the spots three through five, the same five. men’s lineup Will Hardy pitched the last time George was healthy against the milwaukee dollars.

The Jazz and Suns will kick off at 7 pm MT.
