WALTON, NY (WBNG) — The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a crash in the town of Walton.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Lawrence E. Foster, 48, and Kaelyn M. Foster, 24. They are both from Walton.

The office said that on Nov. 11, officers responded to State Highway 10 for a report of the accident. That report indicated that two people were trapped in their vehicles and another person was ejected from one of them.

The office said the two deceased were pronounced dead at the scene. The third person, a 44-year-old from Downsville, New York, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center by LifeNet.

State Highway 10 was closed for several hours while crews worked at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
