A Ballston Spa man is charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Alexander G. Connell, 38, was stopped for speeding on Washington Street in Saratoga Springs around 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 9, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Connell had methamphetamine. He also allegedly drove with a suspended license.

Connell was charged with one felony count and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminal use of drug paraphernalia and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was arraigned in Milton Municipal Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail to await further proceedings.
