raffin poured a golden iPhone for Yamal to celebrate 17 years win the Kopa Trophy.

He received the award for the best under-21 player in world football.

It comes after the teenage winger won the Euro title with Spain in the summer, just a day after his 17th birthday.

He was crowned Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2024, having also been named LaLiga Under-21 Player of the Year for the 2023/24 campaign.

Barcelona lost the title last season to Clasico rivals Real Madrid, but the Catalan team were champions in 2022/23 and Yamal even earned a winner’s medal in gratitude for his contribution, despite only making one appearance.

That made him break a new record as the youngest champion in LaLiga history, at 15 years and 305 days old.

The phone, which was designed and tailored by I Design Gold, is worth £10,000.

Raphinha gave the gift in a box to Yamal, in addition to ordering one for himself.

Follow in the footsteps of Barça legend Messi, who made a similar gesture back in 2022.

The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner bought gold iPhones for the entire Argentine coaching staff and players after his victory in the World Cup.

Since then, he has scored 12 goals and provided ten assists in 17 appearances under the new manager. Hansi Flick.
