Tim Walz was asked to say something nice about Donald Trump, and the internet is loving his answer

Tim Walz has been making his presence known on the campaign trail and recently sat down for an interview with the ladies of The view.

During the interview, co-host Sara Haines presented the governor with quick topics to get his reaction. One was, “My advice to J.D. Vance is?”

Walz responded, “Just go in and order the chocolate donut and don’t add anything else.”

Then Haines moved on to the next topic. “My first thought about Arnold Palmer is?”

Walz wasn’t joking that time, saying, “I’ll pass that on,” as the other co-hosts and audience laughed.

Then Haines said, “A nice thing about Donald Trump is?”

“He won’t be president again,” Walz said as the crowd cheered.

After a few more questions, the ladies gave him a new flannel shirt, the signature garment of the Midwestern man, and sent him on his way.

Social media loved the governor’s response to the Trump question. This person said, “Tim Walz is sharp and delivers zingers. Gotta love his authenticity, unlike Vance.”
