Erin Napier Hints HOMETOWN Could Bring Back Fan Favorite

In a new HOMETOWN sneak peek shared on Instagram, HGTV star Erin Napier hinted that flooring expert Mike Husers, nicknamed “Mike the Floor Guy,” could make his triumphant return to the show.

“When they see who installed this oak floor, they’re going to freak out (hint: it wasn’t @scotsman.co, who used it to stretch it),” Napier. wrote alongside a photo of her husband, Ben, on the floor stretching while looking at the camera.

The Napiers have a long-standing relationship with Mike, and he became a beloved recurring guest on the show. The soil expert, however, has been in a haitus, as Erin explained in 2022.

“Guys, I know you miss Mike. Mike also had hip surgery in 2020 which he was still recovering from, and the Napiers and their fans helped him get through it.

Given her fans’ affection for Mike, it’s no surprise that the comments on Erin’s recent post were filled with fans hoping for his return.

“Please say it’s Mike! We miss him! ,” wrote one fan.

“We need Mike back on the show. We surely miss her soft and sweet character,” wrote a third fan.

While it’s unclear when the next season of HOMETOWN will air, hopefully Erin will continue to provide updates so fans can find out sooner rather than later if Mike is back.
