Vanderbilt University football quarterback Diego Pavia is making headlines, but it’s his mother, Antoinette Padilla, who’s really stealing the show.

On Saturday, the star’s mother climbed into the stands to watch her son play football against the University of South Carolina at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, where she went viral on social media for her stunning appearance.

Padilla, wearing an oversized Vanderbilt T-shirt and matching lanyard, turned heads as her honey-brown highlighted hair cascaded down her back.

She even stuck a Vanderbilt ‘V’ sticker on her cheek to complete the spirited look in support of her son.

And while her 23-year-old son may have led the team to its historic upset against Alabama earlier this season, fans of from last week.

Pavía also told the outlet that his mother was very supportive, as she attended “98 percent” of his soccer games, along with his brother, Roel, who attended “97 percent” of the games.

After their win against Alabama in October, Pavia explained that Padilla, who raised him as a single mother, always had a “winning mentality.”

“She raised me like a winner,” Pavia said of his mother at the time, according to VandySports.

“My mom hates losing more than she loves winning.”

Pavía also told the outlet that his mother was very supportive, as she attended “98 percent” of his soccer games, along with his brother, Roel, who attended “97 percent” of the games.

His little sister, Abrielle, who is in eighth grade, also loves supporting her brother.

“We only celebrate when he wins,” Roel told VandySports. ‘That’s all.’

Pavia also admitted that he thought it was only a matter of time before his family and friends went viral cheering on the quarterback in the stands.

“If they put a camera on those guys, they would go viral every time,” the quarterback said of his brother and his friends.

‘Those guys are like “holy shit.” Some things aren’t right, but it’s pure comedy. People would love it. “If they put a camera on all of us, people would pay to see that.”
