A daughter who plotted ‘revenge’ by posting nude photos of her father’s lover online has been jailed for three years.

Geoff Brown cheated on his wife with a married woman ten years ago, prompting his daughter Eleanor Brown to pay back years later.

Eleanor wanted to humiliate her 61-year-old father’s mistress, so she uploaded intimate photos of her to an escort website. She initially planned to post the nude photos on Gumtree and advertise sexual favors for £5, but changed her mind.

Instead, she signed her on an escort site with the profile title “ex-cop with all my uniform that I like to wear for my clients” and used the phrase “kinky buyer.”

She added the woman’s husband’s phone number, which meant all calls from potential customers would go directly to his phone. The victim’s husband received repeated calls from strangers, jurors were told.

Brown also posted “derogatory comments” about the woman on her husband’s business website and sent a message to the woman’s daughter: “I will make sure your mother never forgets what she did to my family.”

Sentencing her today, Judge Alex Menary said Brown’s attitude after her arrest showed she was “completely, utterly insolent”, “completely devoid of any moral compass” and that her “lack of remorse was staggering”.

Jurors were told Brown’s father had an affair with the woman more than a decade ago while they were both married. It is alleged that the affair came to light in 2015 when the suspect’s mother emailed her husband the intimate photos and videos the woman had shared during the affair.

The prosecutor told the jury that the suspect believed the woman “would be too ashamed” to go to the police. Giving evidence to the court, the woman said she experienced “a deep, sickening feeling of utter panic” when she discovered intimate photos of her had been posted online.

The suspect had noticed that the woman’s husband had started a business and this prompted him to post offensive messages on his Facebook page for the first time, calling his wife a “home-wrecking s**g” and a “bum.” .

Her husband said he also received abusive messages from the defendant after he contacted her parents to ask her to stop, the court heard. He told the trial that he “could understand that (Brown) was frustrated about what had happened” but added: “I don’t understand why she was determined to try to damage the company that I ran.”

The suspect’s behavior was “a vicious and calculated attempt to inflict suffering on (the woman) out of revenge,” the prosecutor said.

During the second week of her trial at Leeds Crown Court, Brown – from Morley – changed her plea to guilty before she was due to testify. She admitted to sharing private sexual photos of the victim without consent in two cases.

Judge Alexander Menary said her guilty plea had come at the “eleventh hour and 59th minute”. He adjourned the pre-sentencing hearing, saying it was “almost inevitable” that she would go to prison “due to the nature of the crime and its persistence.” The judge said Brown “conspired” with her sister, Sophie, and her mother, Sarah, to create the fake profile.

The court heard that Sophie and Sarah are both ex-police officers. Judge Menary said the post on the escort site included the man’s mobile number and he was subsequently bombarded with texts and calls after it went live.

He learned that Judge Brown’s father, Geoff, had an affair with her victim when they were both police officers, but it ended and they both stayed with their husbands. In a victim personal statement read out in court, the woman said describing her feeling “violated” was an “understatement”.

Harry Crowson, defending, said it was “unfathomable” how Brown became involved, saying: “She became a warrior in a war she should never have fought.” Mr Crowson added: “She needs to stop fighting a battle that is not hers.”
