Meta Quest takes the experience of watching the Miami heat to new heights

The Miami Heat falls into the category of the NBA’s most popular teams, meaning their fan base extends far beyond the home crowd.

Those who can’t watch Heat games in person this season have a few options, including watching them on their television or on the Metasearch. The latest option allows fans to experience the Heat and their other favorite teams in virtual reality through the Xtadio application.

Users can access immersive highlights 24 hours after each game, play mini-games, and hang out with friends in the app. With Xtadium, NBA League Pass subscribers can also watch every game live in 2D every night in mixed reality, with real-time statistics.

All of the above features are in action for the 2024-25 season. For Heat fans, there are five games that are immersive: Nov. 15 vs. Indiana Pacers, Dec. 20 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, Dec. 26 vs. Orlando Magic, Jan. 27 vs. Magic, and March 29 vs. Philadelphia 76ers.

The Heat are returning with a lineup similar to last season, meaning there is little room for error on the part of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. Butler and Adebayo are off to shaky starts while Herro is playing at the highest level of his career.

Basketball fans should also stay tuned for more details about the WNBA ahead of the 2025 season.
