Lady Gaga’s first ‘LG7’ single, ‘Disease’, gets an official release date

Lady Gaga wears a black sleeveless dress and smiles.

The first single from Lady Gaga’s upcoming seventh studio album officially has a title – “Disease” – and a release date, and it’s coming very, very soon.

Mother Monster is ready to get sick as she has also revealed that it will be released this coming Friday, October 25.

Fans were biting their nails in anticipation of the new single’s release date, as Gaga revealed last month that the first track from her next record would definitely be released in October.

Since her new film anyway Joker: Folie à Deux Bombarded with critics, audiences and at the box office earlier this month, the singer-turned-actor descended into a period of silence.

Now she’s back and ready to return to the world of pop.

A pre-save link published by Universal Records, owner of Interscope Records, the record label she’s signed to, appears to tease Gaga’s song “Disease” alongside the date “10.25,” aka October 25, aka next Friday.

In addition to the title and release date, a series of web links appear that point to some of the song lyrics.

URL GagaDisease.com shows the glitching text “I could play the doctor,” while the link ICouldPlayTheDoctor.com is decorated with the words “I could cure your disease.”

If users continue to search the revealed lyrics as web URLs, other lyrics will appear, with some of Gaga’s Little Monsters appearing to elaborate on the song’s entire chorus.

‘I could play the doctor, I could cure your disease. If you were a sinner, I could make you believe,” the song goes.

“Lay down as 1, 2, 3. The eyes roll back in ecstasy. I can smell your disease, I can heal you, cure your disease.

Fans got their first hint of the pop icon’s new single title after several songs in her discography had the first letter of their titles decapitated on streaming platforms.

When rearranged, the decapitated letters spelled “disease.”

Last month, the bisexual pop giant announced via Vogue Magazine that her yet-untitled seventh studio album will be released in February.

She stated that the record would proudly become pop, thanks to the advice of her fiancé, Michael Polansky.

Lady Gaga is currently riding high on the charts with her surprise collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With A Smile,” which is number two on the UK Official Chart and number five on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Lady Gaga’s new single ‘Disease’ arrives this Friday, October 25.
