New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has insisted he will not sign any Sporting CP players for the Red Devils in the January transfer window.

Amorim will take charge of Man United in the coming days.

It has been suggested that the Portuguese will sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres for Man United in the January transfer window.

Both men worked together until now at Sporting.

“I won’t sign any Sporting players to Man United in January… so I don’t know what will happen in the summer,” Amorim said via Fabrizio Romano.

“Athletes are good players. We’ll see what happens…”
