Boeing confirms Emirates SkyCargo order for 777 freighters

Boeing has confirmed a new order with Emirates SkyCargo for five additional 777 Freighters, after the Dubai flag carrier’s cargo division placed an initial order for the aircraft type earlier this year.

The new agreement between Boeing and Emirates SkyCargo was announced on October 21, 2024, amid speculation that the deal would close within weeks.

There was mystery surrounding an update in Boeing’s order and delivery report for September 2024, regarding 11 new Boeing 777Fs from an undisclosed customer. It now appears that Emirates was responsible for part of that announcement.
