Flooding affects roads in Hardin County

There are numerous highways, county roads and streets throughout Hardin County that are flooded after up to a foot of rain fell overnight in that area, with the heaviest concentrations between Lumberton and Kountze. KFDM/Fox 4 viewer Drew Loker, a former West Brook High School teacher, reports 11.35″ at 5:13 a.m. Saturday from a cell above northeast Lumberton, just north of Altus. He reports which fell about 6″ in one hour. around 3 a.m.

County Judge Wayne McDaniel urges caution. Do not drive through flooded roads or go around barricades. Remember, ‘turn around, don’t drown.’
