Woman accused of harassing HS football player on field after game, police say

A Wall Township woman has been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly confronting a Howell High School football player after the team lost at Wall High School Friday night, police said.

Wall Police said in a statement that Kelly Davis, 53, walked onto the field after the game and was “aggressive and disruptive” toward the 17-year-old Howell player.

The incident caused concern among players, coaches and spectators and drew the response of police officers and school staff, who de-escalated the situation and escorted Davis from the field and the school building, police said.
