Wearing religious crosses deemed ‘inappropriate’ at Melbourne private school

Sky News presenter Rita Panahi has criticized the Methodist Ladies College in Kew, Melbourne, after students were told to remove their religious crosses.

“Apparently the young girls there who wear crosses are told it’s inappropriate, but then they also have these ‘furries’ who come in with ears and tails,” Ms Panahi said.

“If you want to carry a cross … that can be problematic for some people.”
