Documents state police interviewed the inmate, who is serving time at the Tutwiler Women’s Prison in Wetumpka, on Oct. 25. The inmate said the incident occurred on October 18.

The inmate accused Brantley of forcing her to perform sexual acts by threatening to take disciplinary action “any time he wanted to prevent her from leaving prison and returning home to her children,” the documents said.

Brantley is being held in the Elmore County Jail without bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.

The Alabama Department of Corrections has not yet responded to a request for comment.
