State police arrest a Niskayuna man for possession of child pornography

New York State Police on Thursday arrested Tucker J. Cherry, 19, of Niskayuna, on charges of possession of child pornography.

They say Cherry is accused of possessing images of child sexual exploitation in Glenville.

The investigation that led to the arrest resulted from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, state police said.

Authorities say Cherry was charged with possession of a sexual performance of a child, a class E felony.

Cherry was arrested and processed at the State Police in Princetown, issued an appearance ticket returnable to Glenville Town Court on November 21 and was released.
