Clinton Erie Associates Inc., a Livingston County company, has applied for a state permit to apply herbicide to 74 acres it owns along Armitage Road in Tyre.

The permit would allow drone application of herbicides to control the invasive Phragmites australis at the site, located approximately one mile west of Route 89.

Documents related to the application and draft permits are open for public inspection at the DEC Region 8 office in Avon.
