Henbury collision: Child taken to hospital after being hit by a van

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van.

Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called to Crow Lane in Henbury, Bristol, at 9:18am BST following reports of the collision.

The road was closed and bus services in the area were diverted, but reopened at 11.40am, officers said.

The child’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering and no arrests have been made, police added.
