Vidal confirmed the news on social media.

I asked for and received my release from TNA Wrestling. I appreciate the memories I made and the people I met while I was there. As an LGBTQ+ wrestler, I believe that representation is important, but PROPER representation should come before everything else. I will continue to do my part to show the world that an openly gay man can appear prominently on TV. I look forward to the next chapter in my wrestling journey. That being said, stay tuned. Because I’m about to go as fast as I’ve ever gone in this business
