City Council and Mayoral Elections Decided in Austin

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) – Here are the election results for Austin’s city council and mayor:

Current Mayor Steve King took home 6,894 votes (51.89%) defeating challenger Bradley Johnson, who garnered 6,331 votes (47.65%).

The City Council District 1 seat is for Rebecca Waller with 2,308 voters (57.27%), surpassing Miguel Gárate who obtained 1,707 votes (42.36%).

The race for the District 3 city council seat went to the incumbent member Pablo Fischer after garnering 2,340 (67.14%, defeating challenger Brian Prentis 1,110 votes (31.85%).
