Helmut Marko called out over ‘inappropriate’ comments from Lando Norris during the United States GP | F1 | Sport

Zak Brown has described Helmut Marko’s comments about Lando Norris as ‘disappointing but not surprising’, criticizing the Red Bull man for his ‘bad taste’.

The Red Bull advisor engaged in some mind games in the build-up to the United States Grand Prix, calling into question Norris’s mental strength as he continues to chase Max Verstappen at the top of the Drivers’ Championship.

Speak with Motorsport magazine about his choice for the title, Marko said: “Verstappen. He is the best, he is the fastest and above all he has the mental strength to theoretically fight for the world championship more than Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.

“We know that Norris has some mental weaknesses. I have read about some rituals he has to do to perform well on race day.”
