Chief Inspector Iain Wyke said: “This type of behavior from Dodd, Gill and Dodsworth has no place in football. Dodd and Dodsworth were each banned from football for hateful comments online and offensive chants during a match that caused distress to others and this is completely unacceptable.“This ban now prevents them from attending any football match in the country. While Gill cheated supporters out of significant sums of money by selling counterfeit tickets to them outside the stadium, he is now serving time in prison. I hope this conviction sends a clear message and deters others that we will bring you to justice to face charges.”
