Election Day concludes in Washoe County with initial results released

Election Day has concluded in Washoe County and initial results are now available on the county website. These results cover all in-person voting during early voting and on Election Day, as well as all mail-in ballots received and processed through Election Day.

Mail-in ballots that were delivered to voting centers on Election Day and those that were delivered by mail will be counted in the coming days. Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received within four days will be accepted.

So far, 43.89% of votes were cast during early voting, while 17.87% were cast on Election Day.

Election staff will resume processing and counting mail-in ballots at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The Registrar of Voters Office will update results once a day until counting is complete. Nevada law allows a seven-day period after Election Day for counting.

The results will only be considered final after the vote count, scheduled for November 15.
