In the race to represent westminster In District 2, initial results show incumbent Carlos Manzo with a sizable lead over rivals Thanh Dang and Hauwie Tieu. And with Councilwoman Kimberly Ho not seeking reelection, the winner of the District 3 race will be a new face, whether it’s Joseph Ngo, Mark Nguyen or KC Wolbert.

Manzo was first elected in 2020 to represent District 2, which encompasses much of the area north and south of Westminster Boulevard from Hazard Avenue to the south and around Trask Avenue to the north, and Springdale Street to the west and around Beach to the east.

Mark Nguyen had a large lead in the three-person race for District 3. The winner of District 3 will represent areas south of Hazard and Westminster to about Edinger Avenue or McFadden Avenue and east to about Bushard Street.
