In the selfie-style clip, Witherspoon walked through the woods wearing a black baseball cap and coordinated sportswear with Tom Petty’s “American Girl” plays in the background.

“Quick reminder that your opinions belong to you! Voting is a freedom that you can exercise in private and is no one’s business but yours. So vote for the candidates you believe in,” he wrote in the caption. “It’s an honor to have the right to vote. So do it!”

She also shared the clip on her Instagram Story, emphasizing that “Voting is private ” with an additional caption.

It is a stark contrast to the “I voted” selfie he shared on the social media platform late last week, where he revealed that he voted for the current vice president and Tim Walz.

“I voted today. ,” she captioned the snapshot, sharing that the consideration that was “at the top of her mind” when determining who to vote for was “protecting women’s rights to medical privacy and reproductive choice.”
