Two Camden men convicted, Lindenwold man pleads guilty after separate robberies

CAMDEN – Two Camden men have received prison sentences for their roles in conspiracies involving multiple armed carjackings and gas station robberies, authorities say.

In addition, a Lindenwold man has admitted guilt to three violent armed robberies of convenience stores in Philadelphia.

According to federal prosecutors, all of the crimes occurred within a span of about two weeks.

The Camden men – Kamau Bradshaw, 22, and Paul Rogers, 30 – participated in nine robberies or attempted robberies between August 30 and September 14, 2021, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey.

The robberies occurred in Bridgeton, Brooklawn, Haddon Township, Pennsauken and Vineland.

“At each gas station, at least one member of the conspiracy brandished what appeared to be an assault weapon to threaten the gas station attendant,” the federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

The robbers, who took cash and cigarettes, carjacked a motorist in Philadelphia to drive to a number of gas stations, the statement said.

Bradshaw was sentenced to nine years in prison on Tuesday. Rogers was given a term of more than fifteen years in August.

They previously admitted guilt in Camden federal court to individual charges of committing armed robbery, conspiring to commit armed robbery and conspiring to commit armed carjackings, the statement said.

In the other case, 32-year-old Jared Stanley is awaiting sentencing for violent robberies over two weeks in January and February.

He allegedly pistol-whipped the victims and took about $500 to $550 in each robbery in the Kensington neighborhood.

Stanley pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to three counts of Hobbs Act robbery and a weapons offense in federal court in Philadelphia.

He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years in prison and will be sentenced on January 29, 2025.
