To promote his book, the Godfather the legend recently sat down for an interview with BBC News, where his iconic Shrek phone case was called into question. Yep, the same one he went viral for in 2022 when he was spotted out and about with Jason Momoa. It turns out it was his daughter Olivia who put the case on his phone, introducing the internet’s favorite bogeyman to him. “She said, ‘It’s Shrek, Dad!’ I said, ‘Shrek?’ Wow. Okay baby, I’ll hold it,’” the Oscar-winning actor recalled. It is clear that he is a loving father who has kept his promise.
