Waurika City Manager arrested for alleged child sexual abuse

WAURIKA, Okla. (KSWO) – Special agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) have arrested Waurika’s city manager on charges of child sexual abuse.

Earlier this year, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI to investigate a possible sex crime. Waurika City Manager Charles Kyote Dunn, 30, was identified as the suspect.

Dunn was interviewed by officials just a few days later and a search warrant was issued, leading to the seizure of electronic devices.

According to OSBI, several images of child sexual abuse were found on the seized devices.

Dunn was then arrested in Duncan on Thursday, October 17.

He has been charged with possessing and manufacturing child sexual abuse material and loitering around the home to monitor the residents.

Dunn was booked into the Stephens County Jail.
