Tucson man sentenced to 25 years for killing child he said was possessed by a ‘demon’

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) – A Tucson man who drowned a five-year-old child was sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Pablo Martinez Jr., 36, was sentenced last week by a United States District Judge after pleading guilty to second-degree murder on April 15, 2024.
