Amy Slaton shops for ‘Crazy Recipe’ in 1000-Lb. Sister’s example

In Us weekly exclusive sneak peek from the Tuesday, October 22 episode of the TLC show, Slaton, 36, shops groceries to make a white chocolate shrimp Alfredo.

“I don’t know where my crazy recipes come from, I just want to experiment,” she says. “It might not be good in the end, it might be bomb as f—.”

Slaton then asks a grocery store employee where they keep the white chocolate – and shocks the employee when she reveals what she is making.

“It’s just like regular Alfredo, you just add chocolate chips,” Slaton explains to the woman.

The employee then notes that she “prefers garlic” in her Alfredo sauce. Slaton is unfazed and responds that her cooking is “so different.”

‘Maybe I’ll continue Dancing with the chefs” Slaton jokes before being presented with “typical” Alfredo ingredients, including onion powder, ranch powder, garlic powder, vanilla and Creole seasoning.

Slaton then comes across a mysterious ingredient called “Puck Cream” – which she accidentally refers to as “F- Cream”.

“My mind automatically corrected that,” she says before laughing. “I think it’s a condensed milk sweet deal. It looks Arabic or Indian or Taiwanese or something. …I’ve never used ‘F-Cream’, but I’ve used a lot of lube in my life.

Since January 2020, Amy and her sister, Tammy Slatonhave documented their lives and their weight loss journeys 1000 pounds. Sisters.

Season 6 of the show, which premiered on October 8, explores Amy’s life as a single woman. Amy called it quits with ex Michael Haltermann in March 2023 after almost four years of marriage. (The couple shares sons Gage and Glenn, born in 2020 and 2022, respectively.)

“I told him over and over again, if he doesn’t change, I’m leaving,” Amy shared during a December 2023 episode of 1000 pounds. Sisters. “I used to be the glue that held our family together, but now I’m just the used piece of chewing gum. I just want to be happy. I just want the divorce.”

A year after Amy and Haltermann’s divorce was finalized, the reality star made headlines again after being arrested on charges of drug possession and child endangerment.

According to a Facebook post from the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, Amy was taken into custody in September after police responded to a call about a guest who had been bitten by a camel at a local drive-through zoo.

“Upon arrival, officers were immediately overcome by suspicious odors emanating from the guest’s vehicle,” the post explained, noting that Amy was arrested for “illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI and two counts of endangering children.” A man named Brian Scott Lovvorn was also present in the car and was arrested on the same charges.

The Crockett County Sheriff also confirmed this Us that Amy’s sons were present in the vehicle but were not injured and that the Department of Children and Family Services had become involved.

“A plan has been initiated involving the parents and an investigation is still ongoing,” the PIO said Usadding that Gage and Glenn were released into the custody of a family member after Amy’s arrest.

Amy and Lovvorn pleaded not guilty to drug possession and child endangerment. She has to appear in court again on November 7.
